About the Role
Reporting to the Stores Manager, the Stores Operative will be responsible for the management of material from receipt through to issue.

What you'll be doing
- Unloading/loading Vehicles.
- Goods In – Visual inspection and acceptance of incoming material and packaging to ensure consignments are correct as per purchase order and quality requirements.
- Storage of material in accordance with material control and product preservation procedures.
- Inventory movements ensuring system transactions are completed accurately.
- Order picking and delivery of kits to production.
- Picking and packaging of items for dispatch.
- Cycle count inventory to ensure accurate stock status.
- Ensuring externally stored material is suitably covered to prevent contamination.
- Work with Stores Team Leader to improve operating procedures to continuously meet customer expectations.
- Assist in stock take process according to company procedures.
- Comply with regulations and policies in environmental, health and safety and quality.
- Participate in risk assessments and health and safety audits.
- Daily housekeeping of Stores and yard area to ensure areas are clean and tidy.
- Any other duties as required to fulfil role and schedule.
About You
You'll need to have:
- • Experience working in a stores environment.
- • Well organised and capable of prioritising and multi-tasking, and working to agreed schedules.
- • Must be computer literate, experience in the use of MRP systems.
- • Self-motivated.
- • Flexible approach to the workload.
- • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for the role.
- • 3.5 ton forklift driving license.
It would be great if you have:
- • 5 ton forklift driving license.
- • Banksman Training.
