Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the annual learning and development plan.
  • Identify learning and development needs through induction, job analysis, check-ins and succession planning activities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to scope and develop training content to fill knowledge and skills gaps.
  • Adopt a blended learning approach to support the achievement of our overall learning objectives.
  • Lead the design and development of high quality and engaging digital learning resources.
  • Manage our onboarding process ensuring all new employees have a positive and rewarding experience.
  • Ensure skills matrices are maintained within each area of the business.
  • Support managers and employees to create meaningful personal development plans.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning and development activities using feedback to make improvements for the future.
  • Support on initiatives to enhance internal communication and feedback using various methods, such as, employee engagement team, Hi5 Hero, intranet, digital display boards, news bulletins, employee satisfaction surveys and employee suggestion programs.
  • Ensure the People Information Systems are kept up to date and maintained in line with general data protection requirements.
  • Provide support to the Head of HR & People Development to ensure the company vision and strategic objectives are met.


  • Degree in a business-related subject or CIPD qualified.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to create digital learning content and have experience in: Graphic Design Tools, MS Office Suite, Video Creation and Editing Tools, eLearning Authoring Tools and Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to be creative in the use of language, graphics, animations, audio and video.
  • Experience in communicating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and deliver work to a high standard against competing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Experience of Articulate and Storyline
