You will provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Sales team whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact on the phones ensuring all incoming calls are handled in an efficient manner.
  • Generate quotations and process customer orders ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure goods can be produced and delivered on time to meet customer demand.
  • Process customer engineering change orders.
  • Deal with customer issues including but not limited to order amendments, price queries, order status updates, POD requests and order discrepancies.
  • Management of the customer open order book.
  • Obtain feedback to improve the customer experience, ensuring corrective actions are taken where appropriate.
  • Ensure accurate customer information is maintained on our internal systems.
  • Build and maintain long term customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide administration support to our Service Department.
  • General administration duties.

Essential

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a sales or customer support role within a manufacturing environment.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have the ability to deal with customer queries effectively.
  • Have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work quickly whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Software including Excel, Outlook and Word.

Desireable

  • Experience using CRM and ERP software.
