What happens when you clock out on a Friday afternoon and leave the Spaciotempo team on site for the weekend? You get a whole new building by Monday morning!

Over the past few months preparation has been ongoing at a pace for the erection of a new production centre which has been dubbed ‘Hub2’.

The new Spacio tempo structure, which took just a few days to erect, has added 1,000sqm of production space at the Hub site and will house our CNC machines and new state-of-the-art waterjet cutting equipment. This will increase capacity for Custom Rubber Parts and advance our cutting capabilities. Installation of the waterjet will begin shortly whilst our CNC machines make the move to their new home. To deepen our expertise in this area, we will be recruiting an experienced waterjet operative to hit the ground running and provide training to the rest of the team. Our endless belt operation will now be consolidated between Factories 1 and 2 at Ferguson Drive.

A dedicated project team has worked tirelessly to see the project through to completion and after years of planning, it is exciting to see such rapid process. The existing Hub is also undergoing a makeover, with additional car parking spaces, electric car charging points and a facelift of the building itself.

We can’t wait to share the finished site which will feature a hospitality area and extensive landscaping to make useable, inviting outdoor space for all to enjoy. Stay tuned for the next update!
