2022 has been an exciting year for Smiley Monroe as we saw the return of some of our favourite trade shows around the world. We welcomed the chance to reconnect with customers and friends around the world at Excon India IFAT Munich, Hillhead UK and finally Bauma with many more customer visits in between. We celebrated ten years in India and announced the first Conveyor Belt Technician Apprenticeship programme at Smiley Monroe Kentucky.
March ushered in a new era for the Smiley Monroe Group, with Chris Monroe stepping into the role of CEO and our founder, Vaughan Monroe taking up the position of Chairman. With the support of Vaughan and our Senior Leadership Team, Chris will lead us toward our vision of being the number one partner across our mobile equipment world.

This month we launched our company mission - to revolutionise belt conveying. We thought long and hard about what motivated us as a company and the purpose which would drive us toward our vision. Since we were founded 43 years ago, we’ve used our technical know-how to deliver products and services which solve our customers problems and transform our industry. Defining this as our over-arching mission underlines our continued commitment to innovation within our products and our operations. Our values, customer satisfaction and sustainability will remain at the heart of our decision making. We invite you, our customers to join us on our mission in 2023, and beyond!
Christmas Giving
We understand that for many families Christmas will be particularly challenging this year and with that in mind we have chosen to support Cash for Kids Mission Christmas in lieu of our usual Christmas gifts. Our colleagues have generously donated toys and presents to those in need and as a business we have matched this with a cash donation helping to ensure no child goes without a gift this festive season.
