About the role

This new role offers the opportunity to amplify the Smiley Monroe brand, drive growth and shape campaigns.  As the digital expert, you will have responsibility for the Smiley Monroe’s digital presence, creating visually appealing and engaging content and optimizing the company’s recent investment in our CRM platform.

The right person will be data-focused with an appetite to use insights and automation to build bespoke, creative solutions which enhance both customer experience and Smiley Monroe’s internal processes. You will understand how to capture, qualify and nurture leads through the sales funnel.  Working within an agile marketing team, the individual will play a key role in delivering the wider sales and marketing strategy, with opportunities for learning, development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for keeping a clean, GDPR compliant CRM database.
  • Use automation and data insights to create a seamless and consistent customer experience across all platforms and touchpoints.
  • Generate inbound leads and nurture through the sales funnel.
  • Use a mindset of continuous improvement and automation tools to streamline internal processes.
  • Track and measure ROI on various online and offline marketing activities.
  • Build and manage meaningful internal reporting.
  • Work with the wider team to create insightful, highly targeted content campaigns across numerous platforms.
  • Create visually appealing and clever email campaigns to trigger set outcomes.
  • Analyse, reflect and refine campaign performance, constantly making tweaks to ensure success.
  • Support where required with both offline and online marketing activities.

Essential

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within B2B space
  • Have an innovative mindset focused on making small improvements every day
  • Enjoy turning data and insights into opportunities and ideas
  • Be highly competent working with HubSpot Sales and Marketing platform with a track record of delivering highly effective lead-generation and brand building campaigns
  • Know their way around the marketing technology stack, including Google Analytics and WordPress CMS and Canva
  • Be digital savvy and have a working understanding of YouTube and Google Ads
  • Be a great collaborator, working with cross-functional teams
  • Be detail orientated with great communication skills
  • Stay curious – identifying and recommending new digital technologies and trends as relevant

Desireable

  • A degree in Marketing discipline or similar
  • Relevant industry experience
  • A second language is a bonus though not essential
